The bill (Reg. No. 1220) suggests setting payment “to the employees gaining monthly payment – at the rate of hour or daily payable rate, if the work on public holidays and day offs was conducted within standard monthly working time, and at the rate of double average (daily) payment, if the work was conducted over standard monthly working time.”
It was noted that during elaboration the remarks of the Ministry of Finance re terms of enactment of the law were considered.
According to the Committee members, adoption of the bill will increase salary of employees involved in work on holidays and days offs over the monthly norm of working time.
